Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant for our Treasury Division to join the team and report to our Senior Accountant.

Your role as an Accountant

As an Accountant in our Treasury Division you will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks to support company’s treasury functions. By entering financial transactions into our internal databases and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, you will assist in the reconciliation of bank accounts and cash flows. Your time management and organizational skills, your attention to detail, as well as your knowledge of basic accounting principles, aligned with your love for pets, will help you stand out in this role!

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Monitoring daily cash flows and ensure adequate liquidity for operations
• Inserting relevant data correctly in the ERP
• Ensuring compliance with Local and International Accounting Standards
• Assisting Accounting Team in the preparation of annual budgets related to treasury activities
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant degree
• Master’s Degree will be considered an asset
• 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Advance in MS Office especially Excel, and ERP software
• English knowledge (written and oral)
• Agile, flexible, accountable, and real team player
• Time management and organizational skills
